This Privacy Policy explains how New Order Media Pty Ltd (ACN 691 646 198), trading as Cellar Club ("Cellar Club", "we", "our", "us"), collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information in connection with our mobile application, website, and related services. This Policy applies to all users of the Cellar Club app, website, and services, including hospitality staff, venues, brand partners, and other visitors ("you", "your"). By accessing or using the app, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

- Career Profile Information – résumé, work history, education, and career preferences.

- Device Information – device name, device identifier, platform (iOS/Android), app version, and push notification token, collected when you enable push notifications.

- Security & Audit Data – IP address, browser or device user agent, and approximate location (city, country) recorded at each login for security and fraud prevention purposes.

- Competition and Event Entries – details you provide when entering competitions or applying for event tickets.

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, verify employment, or upload your résumé; automatically through your device when using the app or website (cookies, analytics); and from third parties where you have consented or authorised (e.g., applying to a job via a partner venue).

- Verify employment and determine Verified Member eligibility
- Provide and manage your account, offers, and membership benefit
- Allow you to upload and manage your career profile.
- Facilitate job matching and allow venues to view your résumé where you apply directly.

- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Marketing communications (email, push, SMS) are sent only where you have opted in, and you may change your preferences at any time through your profile settings or by following the unsubscribe links provided.

- Authorised Cellar Club employees for verification, recruitment, or customer support.

Cellar Club is a proudly Australian application. Our platform and primary data storage are hosted on servers located in Sydney, Australia, and we are committed to ensuring your personal information is protected in accordance with Australian law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Some services we use to operate the platform — such as email delivery and push notifications — may be provided by third-party providers whose infrastructure operates outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle your information in a manner consistent with Australian privacy standards.
9. Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You may also delete your account or request deletion of stored information, subject to any legal retention obligations. Upon deletion, verification documents and résumés will be permanently removed from our active systems.
10. Payslip & Employment Verification Documents
When you submit a payslip or other employment document as part of our verification process, it is used solely to confirm your eligibility as a hospitality professional. We treat this information with the highest level of care:
- Immediate deletion upon verification – Once your employment has been verified, your payslip or verification document is immediately and permanently deleted from our servers.
- No retention beyond verification – We do not store, archive, or hold copies of your payslip in our active systems beyond the point at which verification is confirmed.
- No third-party sharing – Your payslip is never shared with any third party, including venues, brand partners, or advertisers. It is seen only by authorised Cellar Club staff solely for the purpose of completing your verification.
- Stored securely in Sydney, Australia – During the brief period your document is held for verification, it is stored securely on our Sydney-based servers and is not transferred outside Australia.
If your verification is not completed, any uploaded document will be deleted from our systems within 30 days of upload. We take the handling of payslip data seriously and have designed our verification process specifically to minimise the time this sensitive information is held.
11. Retention of Information
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. Verification data (e.g., payslips) is deleted immediately after verification is complete (see Section 10 above). Inactive accounts may be anonymised or deleted after a defined period.
